Breaking the 4,000-point barrier

In the tourney’s second round on December 11, Creech poured in 54 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in an 82-48 win over Norton’s J.I. Burton High School. Alexis Stambaugh helped the Lady Cavs with 20 points and 10 rebounds. In the final round on December 12, Creech burned the nets for 60 points and collected 26 rebounds in an 84-59 win over Lee, Va. Stambaugh had 11 points and 11 rebounds. Entering the Lady Cavaliers’ 84-59 win over Perry County Central on Monday, Creech had amassed 4,111 points in her career.
