Breeding family members gather for reunion

VISITORS – Patricia “Patty” and Frank Tuttle from Lake Arrowhead, Calif., have been in Kentucky visiting with family and friends since June 28. They will be leaving tomorrow (Thursday). Patty Tuttle is the daughter of the late Burn Breeding of Isom. She celebrated a birthday July 6.

Condolences to the families of Billy Bates, Inez Taylor and Tommy Hutton Jr.

Belated happy birthday to Judy Breeding Mullins, Jerry Breeding, Joe Adams, and Marie Parks on June 29, and Patricia “Patty” Breeding Tuttle on July 6. Happy birthday to Dionne Adams Bates on July 13, Mitchell Meade on July 16, and Andrea Meade and Kyli Breeding on July 18.

Anita and Sherd Caudill, Homer “Peanut” Caudill and Oleika Paige went to Myrtle Beach this past week.

Peggy, Jeremy and Dalton Meade, with Jason and Franka Adams, spent this past week in the Smoky Mountains.

Mike and Charolette Breeding, Shane Lisa and Courtney and their family spent this past week in Myrtle Beach also.

The Jubilee House of Praise held its homecoming on July 8. The pastor, Donnie Mullins, would like to invite everyone to come out and worship with them.

The Hemphill Community Center held its annual Fourth of July celebration this past Wednesday. They had a beautiful fireworks display to close out the night.

The Breeding family held their annual family reunion this past weekend at Isom at a park owned by Tim Breeding. They had three days of festivities from a wiener roast on Friday, dinner and fireworks Saturday and finishing off with a breakfast on Sunday morning.

The highlight of the reunion was being united with Burn Breeding’s daughter, Patricia “Patty” Tuttle, from Lake Arrowhead, Calif. Patty and her husband, Frank, along with Patty’s aunt, Mae Banks from Louisville, arrived in Kentucky on June 28. Patty celebrated her sister, Judy’s, birthday with her and Judy’s family on June 29. Patty also got to celebrate her birthday on July 6 with her husband, Frank, and Aunt Mae, Judy and Robert Mullins and Andrea and Chuck Meade Jr. and Josephine Breeding. They held a birthday dinner for Patty in Isom on July 5. Patty and Frank will be leaving here on Thursday July 12. We have really enjoyed their visit and hope to get to spend time with them again very soon.

Jackie Taulbee from Middletown, Ohio, will be performing the National Anthem at the Lexington Legends baseball game on July 21 at 7 p.m. Jackie is the daughter of Lowell and Doris Ann Breeding Hopkins, and the granddaughter of the late Cullen and Allie Breeding. Everyone is welcome to go and show their support to Jackie.
