Breeding family welcomes baby boy

My niece, Ashlee Morgan of Isom, had to spend a few days in the hospital. She was put in on a Tuesday and got out on Valentine’s Day. She has been having a lot of problems with throat infections and has to have her tonsils taken out Feb. 29. She is the daughter of Randy and Mary Ann Morgan of Isom.

I had to take my son, Justin, to the emergency room late one night that same week. This flu is really hitting people hard.

Sherry Fugate of Blackey, had to spend a couple of days in Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was having stomach problems.

Congratulations to Shane and Lisa Breeding of Isom, on the birth of their baby. Clayton Stone was born on Feb. 12. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces. They also have a little girl, Courtney.

My sympathy to the family of Kevin Hall of Pistol City. He died Feb. 17. He had a daughter and a baby on the way with his wife, Jessica. He was 24.

Congratulations to Christopher Craig Frazier and Natasha Lynn Porter of Missouri. They were married Feb. 16 barefooted on the beach in Boddentown, Grand Cayman. Jake, Natasha’s seven-year-old son, was the ringbearer. Craig is the son of Ann Frazier of Knott County and the late Steve Frazier.

Happy birthday to David Dixon of Carcassonne. It was on Feb. 22.

I had a baby shower for my daughter, Jennifer, on Saturday at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church. We had a big crowd and Jennifer and Damian wanted to thank everyone that came and those that couldn’t make it but sent gifts. They appreciate everything they have gotten. She is due in April.

Congratulations to Lindsey and Jarrod Reid of London, on the birth of their baby girl. Tori Kay Reid was born on Feb. 22. She weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. Lindsey is the daughter of Jeff and Kay Hampton of London. I don’t know Jarrod’s family. Tori is the great-granddaughter of Mae Fugate of Carcassonne and Jean Hampton of Letcher. They said the baby has light brown hair and blue eyes and is a cutie.

My sympathy to the family of Leaxzine Williams. She died on Feb. 18. She was the sister of Jo Halcomb of Ulvah.
