Funeral services for Bryce Wilson Baker, 62, were held January 24 at Pine Creek Church. Burial was in the Craft Cemetery at Mayking.
A son of the late Lewis and Hennie Craft Baker, he died January 20 at his residence in Mayking. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sylvan Wayne Baker and Vaughn Baker; a sister, Eva Mae Craft; and a niece, Heather Ann Piper.
Mr. Baker enjoyed watching University of Kentucky basketball games, NASCAR races, and football, and collecting knives, coins, and antiques.
Surviving are his wife Anita “ Vickie” Brock; a daughter, April Baker of Mayking; a son, Bryce “Beau” Baker of Mayking; five sisters, Ruth Hall of Henryville, Ind., Polly Wyatt of Columbus, Ind., Melvina Piper of Elizabethton, Ind., Inis Carpenter of Ocoee, Fla., and Alice Maggard of Mayking; two grandsons, Jayson “Zach” Pease and Dylan Ace Adams; a brother Billy Hall of Mayking; and two friends, Shelby Cornett and Kenny Waddell.
Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
