Burglars strike Isom stores

Police are asking for information about three burglaries at Isom that may be connected.

Kentucky State Police say a burglary at Breeding’s Plumbing and Electric was reported to police at 6 a.m. on Dec. 29. Police say three Husqvarna chain saws were stolen after a rock was thrown through the front door glass to gain entry into the building.

At 8:30 a.m. another burglary was reported at Johnny Wheels after an employee came to work and noticed that a lock had been cut from a storage trailer. Four large truck tires were stolen from the trailer.

The same employee noticed that Diana’s Bows and Fashions, located beside Johnny Wheels, also had the front door glass broken. A large amount of clothing was taken from Diana’s Bows and Fashions. State police believe that all three burglaries are connected.

If anyone has information about these crimes contact Kentucky State Police at 606-435-6069 or 1-800-222-5555 and you may remain anonymous. The investigation is continuing by KSP Det. Chris Collins.
