Letitia ‘Tish’ Campbell, 91, of Wawaka, Ind., died April 4 at North Ridge Village Nursing & Rehabilitation in Albion, Ind.
Born in Jeremiah to the late James and Anna Adams, she was a sister of the late John Adams, Watson Adams, Mose Adams, Dave Adams, Lissie Blair and Betty Jane Reynolds.
She was graduated from Stuart Robinson High School and attended business college in Cleveland, Ohio.
During World War II, she worked for Chrysler in Detroit on the Manhattan Project. She later worked at Motor Products in Detroit.
She was a past member of the National Bible Society, and donated to the “Bible A Month Club” for many years, along with several other charities.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Elzie Campbell; a son, Michael Campbell and wife Karen of Avilla, Ind.; a daughter, Linda Campbell-Davis and husband Kevin of South Bend, Ind.; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 8, in Kendallville, Ind. Burial was in Orange Cemetery in Rome City, Ind.
