Carcassonne plans square dance

Carcassonne Community Center voted to have its November square dance on November 20. This will be the first square dance since November of 2019.

The council is optimistic that the current decline in COVID infections will continue, but will also take precautions. Anyone who has cold, flu, or COVID symptoms is encouraged to wait until Carcassonne square dances can resume on a regular basis, which is planned for March, 2022. The building has been cleaned and hand sanitizer will be plentifully available. Temperatures will be taken at the door. The volunteers have been vaccinated and will be masked. Other Centers for Disease Control guidelines will be followed, and common sense should be used by staff and patrons.

The caller will be Will Bowling, and music will be by The Sunrise Ridge Band. This dance will be sponsored by Isom IGA, home of the best little deli in the area.
