Carlos W. Brown, 76, of Cumberland, died April 2 at Tri Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born at Isaac’s Creek to the late Carlos Sr. and Emily Mae Cornett Brown, he was a brother of the late Allison Morgan and Walta Blair.
He was retired from General Motors Company and was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia Cornett Brown; four children, Patricia Shelton and husband Joe of Eolia, Pamela Broockman and husband Pete of Maryville, Tenn., Barbara Hernandez and husband Roland of Maryville, Tenn., and Edward L. Brown and wife Debra of Cumberland; seven grandchildren, Daniel W. Hernandez, Joseph Morris, Bambi Shelton Pelham, David Zomaya, Ashley Broockman, Angela Zomaya, and James Brown; and three great-grandchildren, Rose Lynn Hernandez, Bonnie Morris, and Ruby Hernandez.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
