Caudills have new baby girl

Blackey

My parents, Pnut and Jean Blair, had to go to Lexington recently. Dad had to have cancer removed from his face. He has to go back in a few days to have his stitches taken out and to make sure everything is fine.

Since I didn’t have any news last week, I wanted to send my sympathy to the families of Daniel Cole of Linefork who died the 7th, and Aaron ‘Hank’ Adams of Crases Branch who died also on the 7th.

Happy birthday to Fred Dixon of Blackey. It was Jan. 17. Happy birthday to his granddaughter Kylie Miller, also of Blackey. She turned 5 on Jan. 18. She is the daughter of Jai and Michelle Miller and granddaughter of Billie Miller of Blackey.

My sympathy to the family of Claudette Kimbley of Sandlick, formerly of Blackey. She died on Jan. 11.

Happy birthday to Leshia Daniels of Isom and Ross Smith of Blackey. They were both on Jan.15. Manis Blair of Elk Creek had a birthday on Jan. 18, and Kate Collins of Isom on the 22. Tootsie Johnson of Carbon Glow has on birthday on the 24th, and Donna Frazier of Whitesburg also on the 24th.

Connie Lynn Crase of Crases Branch had a heart attack on Friday. She was taken to Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital then taken to Hazard ARH. She was died on Saturday morning. My sympathy to all her family. Connie was 57.

Congratulations to Mashawna and Phillip Caudill of Doty Creek on the birth of their daughter. Aria Rayne Caudill was born on Jan. 14. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. The grandparents are Bruce and Rita Gilley of Letcher, and Debbie and Fairless Collins and Robert Caudill. Aria has an older brother, Jacob, and an older sister, Zoey.

Tara Couch of Linefork had to have surgery Friday, but her mom, Dena, said she is doing fine. She has been through so much. I hope she can get better soon.

Mallory and Jamy Patterson’s baby boy Karsyn had to spend two days in the hospital. He had bronchitis. He got to come home on Friday. He is the grandson of Karen and Mike Eldridge of Elk Creek.
