Harlan had six different players to score as the Green Dragons opened post-season play with a 60-6 win over Jenkins in Class 1A action played at Green Dragon Field on November 5.
The loss dropped the Cavaliers to 1-10 while Harlan improved to 9-2 and advanced to the second round.
Jenkins was held to minus nine yards rushing while quarterback Darian Slone completed 7-of-17 passes for 94 yards. Receiver Brady Addington had four catches for 49 yards while Nate Bates hauled in one pass for 24 yards. Matthew Jessey had two receptions for 21 yards.
All of Harlan’s offense came on the ground as the Green Dragons finished with 213 yards.
Harlan running back Kendal Brock finished with 67 yards on six rushing attempts and two touchdowns. His first fueled a 35-point, first quarter. His second TD capped off the opening period.
Noah Busroe returned a punt 37 yards for a touchdown and then ran back the second half kickoff 83 yards for another score.
Paul Stapleton rushed three times for 59 yards and a score while Troy Barton added 56 yards on just two rushes and a touchdown.
