Charles McKnight Jr. buried at Cloverlick

Charles Bethel McKnight Jr., 77, died December 19 at his home at Partridge.

Born in Cumberland, he was a son of the late Bethel and Pearlie Mae Estep McKnight.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired coal miner. He was a member of Cloverlick Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Darlene Cress McKnight; four children, Connie McKnight, London; Kim Telscher, Cincinnati, Ohio; Tracey Tackett, Cumberland; and Charlotte McKnight, Partridge; three brothers, Roy McKnight, Gallatin, Tenn.; Harold McKnight, Harrison, Mich.; and Roger McKnight, Dandridge, Tenn.; four sisters, Doris Phipps, Cumberland; Betty Phipps and Pauline Trent, both of Partridge; and Bonnie Logins, Cornelia, Ga.; and grandchildren, Chuckie, Jessica, Aaron, Cole, Zachary, Brandon, and Nicholas.

Funeral services were held December 22. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery at Cloverlick.
