Funeral services for Charlotte Louise Potter, 94, of Burdine, were held November 6 at the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Potter family cemetery.
She died November 3 at the home of her daughter in Burdine.
A daughter of the late Nathaniel Jackson Adams and Sena Elizabeth Francisco, she was the widow of Paul Sexton and after his death was married to the late Allison Potter. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul James Sweeton and Roger Carl Sweeton; a grandson-in-law, Tony Stanley, and a grandchild, Michelle Lynn Baker.
Mrs. Potter was a 78-year member of the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church, a charter member of the Burdine Ladies’ Auxiliary, and a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Baker and husband Paul of Burdine; a granddaughter, Nancy Louise Stanley; two greatgrandchildren, Dustin Paul Wright and wife Melissa and Christopher Allison Wright; and two great-greatgrandchildren, Mason Kyler and Jackson Riley Wright.
