Eugene Slone from the Sheriff ’s Office came and took our pictures for Christmas ornaments. They do this for us every year, and we sure appreciate it.
A busload of us went to Bristol Raceway to see the Christmas lights. They were spectacular! We went shopping at Ft. Henry Mall, and ate at Cheddars. We were gone for 12 hours and everyone’s car was frosty when we got back to the center.
Judith Vermillion had her Christmas open house last Saturday. The whole house was full of goodies and beautiful, handmade gifts for the whole family — even catnip for your cats. There were several crafters selling their wares, and a kitchen full of goodies for sampling.
Our Christmas potluck will be Dec. 16. If you are 60 or over, come and bring a dish. We always have a good meal and good fellowship.
Prayer list this week: Lennon Hammock, Joe Bentley, George Fields, Patty Majority, Debbie Slone, Ruby Caudill, and Estill Taylor.
