Hope you are having a much better day than I am. Been really sick the past couple of days and am now on oxygen, provided by hospice.
They are here several times a week and if they think I need anything at all, it’s here posthaste. A really grand group of caring people.
Finally found out what my trouble is, my body is diminishing, waning or whatever one might want to call it. No cure, and no way to slow it down. So guess my time is limited, which is okay anyway.
Richard and Georgia just left. Georgia cleaned up the kitchen before they left, which was greatly appreciated. I can’t stoop or bend down else I fall and have to call for help.
Red is not doing well at all. Not being able to see is very hard for him. He wants to do things that he can’t do.
Got calls from Jeanie and Ollie (McRoberts) Profit (the late Denver) so I consider her my cousin. Also got a call from Doris (Phillips) King in Davenport, Iowa. She is one of my former students.
Catharine was pretty sick for a few days but is better now.
We’ve been having some beautiful weather, at least what I can see from inside.
Had six people come by this past Saturday, sang some beautiful songs and said some inspirational prayers. Can’t go to church anymore so they brought the church to me! They were Brother Larry and Sister Patsy Newsome from Pleasant View Church, Kenny Anderson, Brother Jay and Sister Beulah from Little Edna Church, and Milford Clark from Little Pilgrim Home Church.
I’m hoping we can do it over some other time.
Wishing all a day of sunshine and lots of love to all. Will keep you in my prayers and I do appreciate all the beautiful cards, letters, phone calls and prayers on our behalf. Love and prayers.
