I hope everyone has had a good week. The leaves were beautiful this week.

Coolie, Janice, George, Marie, Clester and I were in West Virginia this week for the memorial service for Charles Isaacs. A very sad time, but we saw so many of his family and friends. His wife Jackie was unable to attend the service so we went by their home for a visit with her. Their daughter Terese is taking her mom home with her to Minnesota. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. Colson

The Whitesburg High Class of 1961 had our 50- year reunion this weekend. I think it was our best. We met at Kingdom Come State Park for a picnic on Friday night. The trip on the Little Shepherd Trail was so colorful.

Saturday morning we met at the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library for breakfast, Saturday night at the Pine Mountain Shrine Club for dinner, and Sunday morning at Pine Mountain Grill for breakfast.

We have lost 33 members of our class. We hope to get together in a couple years again.

Thanks so much to Carl and Marsha Banks for all the work they do to make the reunions a success. We do appreciate you both so much. Those who weren’t there were missed, and we hope you can be at the next one.

My brother Mike was in Mt. Sterling this weekend for Court Days. They stopped by our brother Warren’s in Clay City on their way home. Debbie says next year she is going to hit every yard sale.

Anthony Jent , the 11-year-old son of Tony and Susie Jent, got a 10-point deer at the Youth Hunt and he is so happy. He is a grandson of Pete and Josie Slone. Congratulations, Anthony.

Coolie, Janice, Jimmy, Kathy, Brian, Nikki and Brooke were in the Smokies this weekend. Beautiful weather. I think half the folks in the county were down there this weekend.

Get well wishes to Wanda Collier, Sidney Willis Amburgey, Landon Sexton, Freda McFall, Paul Adams, June Craft, and all who are sick and hurting. We are so thankful that Willie Perry is doing better, and so is Anna Belle Wright.

Sympathy to the families of Sherry Wright, Daisy Yonts and Dean Pridemore.

Call me with any news at 855-7338. God bless.
