April 21, the Ermine Senior Citizens Center was closed because the seniors went to an art and crafts show at the college. Some of them won.

Coleen Hart won six blue ribbons for her oil painting. She had painted her granddaughter.

Bob Mayhew, Flo’s husband, won a blue ribbon for his photography. Flo Mayhew is in the Norton Hospital very sick. We sure miss her. She is really good on the Wii games.

Gracie Wynn has been in Whitesburg Hospital but is home now. We hope how soon she’ll be back at the center with us. We miss our people when they miss or can’t come.

Our seniors tacked a quilt for Relay for Life.

It was good to see Ralph Hall back at our center. Don’t stay away so long next time, Ralph, we were glad to see you.

Joe Walker was there Friday also. He’s one of our regulars who drops in often. We’re glad you came by to be with us, Joe.

We’d like for more of our seniors to come and join our group. We have great times, and lots of fun. Looking for the next party.

God bless until next time.
