The Boone Youth Dropin Center, located across from Appalshop in Whitesburg, will host a series of free comic book and zine creation workshops on Dec. 1, Dec. 8, and Dec. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Award-winning illustrator Christopher Epling will walk participants through the steps to create threir own comics.
