Free health checks on tap at MCHC June 14 — Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation and Respiratory Clinics of Eastern Kentucky are sponsoring a health fair on Tuesday, June 14, from 10 a.m. until

2 p.m. at the Whitesburg Medical Clinic, 226 Medical Plaza Lane. Services such as basic health screenings, blood pressure checks and glucose checks will be available. In addition, information on many health-related programs and the importance of medical testing including mammography, pap smears and colonoscopy will be provided. Cheerleading camp June 15-17 — The Letche r County Central High School Cheerleaders will host a Cheerleading Camp June 15-17 at the LCCHS gymnasium from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Ages 3-15 are welcome. For my information, contact Donna Perkins at 859-644-2032.

Bentley reunion The Otho Bentley family reunion will be held June 24 and 25 at the Otho Bentley homeplace at Millstone at 6 p.m. both days, and at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 26.
