December 15 — Christmas on the Hill at the Old Indian Bottom Church building at the Frog Pond in Blackey will take place with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., and entertainment with Ron Short and Friends at 7 p.m. Those attending should bring finger foods and drinks. . December 15 — A closing reception for Jonathan Treadway whose work is on display will be held at the Appalshop Gallery at 5 p.m. He is a Kentucky self-taught outside artist who lives in Bowling Green in a house
built in the 1840s. He is also a published poet and a singer songwriter. The artist will be present and refreshments will be served.
