The Center for Rural Development is hosting two Fall into Cash community yard sales inside its exhibit hall for vendors to come together in one location to sell their wares and yard sale enthusiasts to enjoy a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
The event will be held on Aug. 1 and Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Center in Somerset and will follow all federal, state, and local guidelines regarding COVID-19.
“The size of the Exhibit Hall actually works to our advantage in planning this event. It will allow us to space out vendors booths and provide social distancing for both our vendors and shoppers,” said Laura Glover, Managing Director of Marketing and Events at The Center. “We also will have hand sanitizer stations located throughout the room. We want everyone to have a fun, safe time.”
The Fall into Cash community yard sale, now in its sixth year, is open to both individual vendors and established merchants seeking to rent booth space. There is no admission charge to the general public.
For more information or to reserve vendor space, call Debra Hines at 606-677- 6000 or visit The Center at 2292 South U.S. 27 (at Traffic Light 15) in Somerset and fill out a registration form. All booth space must be reserved and paid in advance.
All Fall into Cash vendors and shoppers are encouraged to wear face masks.
