A computer class will be held for senior citizens age 50 and older who would like to learn how to use a computer to communicate with family and friends or send a picture on email. Hazard Community and Technical College will teach the basics of windows, how to setup an email account, how to send and receive emails and how to save pictures. Participants will also learn how to use the Internet and how to set up a Facebook account.
Class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Oct. 2 at the Knott County Opportunity Center. The instructor is Josh Slone. The cost is $35.
