Computer classes offered to seniors

The Computer Club for Seniors will meet every Thursday at the lower level of the Harry M. Caudill Memorial Library in Whitesburg beginning April 9. The classes will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and will be geared for seniors who have no training in computers or for those who would like to improve their skills. Students will be assisted on the basics and hands-on practices.

Seating is limited to eight people and the lessons will run for six weeks. The computers were donated to the library through a grant from Connect Kentucky and the Appalachian Regional Commission. To reserve a space, call the library at 633- 7547.
