Hazard Community and Technical College will host a computer training course for individuals age 50 and older. The course will cover Internet, email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft, Excel, in addition to teaching students how to hook up and start their computer.
This is a beginner’s course. Those who complete the two-day training will receive a free refurbished computer. Priority will be given to those who are enrolled or are enrolling in training programs at HCTC.
Ten spots are available. Call Myla now at 606-487- 3065 for an application. The two-day class will begin Monday, March 26, at 9 a.m. Class will be held at the HCTC Hazard Campus Jolly Classroom Center, Room 224.
