Cora Brown, 86, dies in Indiana





Cora Brown, 86, of Corydon, Ind., died November 22 in New Albany, Ind.

A daughter of the late Billie and Phoeba Caudill, she was born at Jeremiah. She was formerly employed at Arpac in Corydon and was a member of the Lone Valley Old Regular Baptist Church in Speed, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Brown; her brothers and sisters, Arla Caudill, Corbit Caudill, Monroe Caudill, Mattie Whitaker, and Hettie Witt; and a grandson, Darrin Brown.

Funeral services were held November 25 in Corydon. Burial was in the Heidelberg Cemetery.

She is survived by three sons, Darrell Brown, Corydon; W. Larry Brown, Ocala, Fla.; and Wayne Brown, Homosassa, Fla.; two daughters, Clara Crowe, Louisville, and Carol Daugherty, Milltown, Ind.; a brother, Clyde Caudill, Louisville; a sister, Bernice Back, St. Paris, Ohio; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-greatgrandchildren.
