The Cougar boys’ basketball team played their third game of the season at East Ridge. The Warriors were 1-0 while the Cougars were 1-1.

The Cougars trailed 11-10 after one quarter and 28-22 at the half before kicking it up a notch in the third quarter as they outscored the home team 20-14 to tie the game after three quarters. The Warriors took control in the fourth quarter and pulled away to win 60-53.

The Cougars are now 1-2 and were to play Knott County on Tuesday (Dec. 11). Once the football players get in basketball shape the Cougars should be in good shape.

Devon Blair led the way against East Ridge with 15 points. He was followed in double figures by Ison with 10, Banks with 8, Cornett with 7, Profitt with 6, Reynolds with 4, and Longworth with 3.
