Court adopts list of projects to receive severance funding




A new priority list for coal severance projects approved this week by the Letcher Fiscal Court still favors water and sewer projects, but a number of other projects will also receive some or all the funding projected for them. Projects are listed by priority number with the amount they will receive in the current distribution cycle. If a project is scheduled to receive more money at a later date, the total allocation appears in parentheses. 1. Knott County Interconnect Water Project, $400,000 ($1,000,000) 2. Highway 160/Premium Water Project, $200,000 ($250,000) 3. Millstone Water Project, $100,000 ($375,000) 4. Pert Creek/Cram Creek/Pine Creek Water Project, $200,000 ($250,000) 5.
