Happy fall- like days. Love the beautiful weather. This week is Mountain Heritage week so go out and enjoy. It’s not every week we get to see our friends and loved ones that come for the event. See ya there.
The cousin trip was a success. We went to Aunt Janice and Uncle Ron Wolod’s in Maryland. Got to tour a lot and ate seafood. They invited us over for supper one night and brunch the next morning. Kim and Carrie (their daughters) fixed it. Yummy. Our cousin Jim Yonts came over and visited as well. He is now employed in Maryland. Aunt Janice and Uncle Ron have taken him under their wing. Sweet.
Continue to pray for the family of Carolyn Sturgill in the death of her husband Frank. Also, the family of Dee Dee Williams. She was an awesome gospel singer for the Lord. Prayers for all.
Donna and I had a birthday on the 22nd. The Lord sure blessed us. Donna said we had over 400 likes on Facebook. Must be her, I don’t know 400 people. Go sista.
Happy birthday to Ernie Ison of Cowan Creek; he has a birthday on the 26th. I am thinking Joey Yonts had a birthday on the 23rd. Our granny Beulah Caudill’s was on the 20th. We all miss her so much. Also on the 23rd was Donnie Adams, son of Patsy Adams of Cowan Creek. Happy birthday to all.
I need to correct something. I put Micca Watts Gordon taught school in Shelbyville, but actually she teaches in Jefferson County. She has a master’s degree in special education and is still taking classes. Go Micca. She is my niece.
Karen Fields is moving from Cowan Creek to be closer to her children. We sure will miss her sweet face. She is and was the best neighbor ever, so friendly and kind. Good luck and lots of love on your new journey. May God bless you and your family.
Juanita Fields Caudill and her husband Curtis bought her house so welcome home to them. May be a home- away- fromhome kinda place. So awesome. Home is where the heart is.
Until next time. Pray for peace. America is a total train wreck!
