Hello friends and family. Hoping all had a good week.
I was so sorry to hear that R.C. Day died. He will really be missed and was a great storyteller. He has gone home to be with his lovely wife Frances and to be with the Lord. My prayers for his family.
So many people are sick at this time, Johnny Boggs, Cindy Banks Neace, Jessie Fay Fields Combs, Faye Lowe, Ken, Eugene and Irene Day, and Ruth Holbrook.
The Cowan Community Action Group Inc. met on March 8 to discuss new plans and ideas. If anyone is interested in being a part of our next story-play now in the process of being developed, attend our next meeting on Tuesday, March 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cowan Community Center.
It is so much fun and I enjoy meeting new people and we really need more players. At least come once and see if you like it and then make your decision. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. We thank the Higher Ground Group from Harlan for helping us out and Ben Fink who will be helping with our singing.
I know you all have some hidden talent out there so please come and join us or call Carol Ison at 633-9831 for more information. We usually have snacks and refreshments.
Kingscreek Market is now open under new managers. Stop in and say “howdy”. At least you will leave with a laugh or two. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and 1-8 p.m. on Sunday. Tell Marlene Christine sent you.
Donald Harding will be at Kings Chapel on Wednesday, March 9, I think at 6 p.m. Come on out and enjoy.
Well, gotta go and get this in. Have a great week. May God bless.
