A Deane woman will be on supervised probation for three years after pleading guilty to assault.
Crystal A. Hill, 29, of 714 Apple Tree Branch, pleaded guilty in Letcher Circuit Court on Feb. 16 to fourth-degree assault — her third offense against a family member within five years.
According to the plea agreement, Crystal Hill injured Jack Hill when she struck him with a coffee cup and stabbed him with a fork on Oct. 15, 2009. In addition to the term of probation, Crystal Hill was also ordered to pay a supervision fee of $15 each month, a drug testing fee of $10 each month, and $130 in court costs. She will receive 73 days credit for time served in jail.
