A Camp Branch man is accused of stealing a gun from a sport utility vehicle and then selling it.
Joshua Revels, 29, stole a .45 caliber Glock from Craft’s Colly resident Nicole Holbrook’s vehicle on Sept. 27 and sold the gun under an assumed name to someone in Deane, said Sgt. Barry Engle of the Letcher County Sheriff ’s Department.
Engle retrieved the stolen weapon and returned it to the owner.
Revels was arrested Oct. 1 and charged with theft of a firearm and theft by deception.
Revels posted 10 percent of a $5,000 bond on Oct. 2. He was scheduled to be arraigned this week.
