A rib and chicken dinner, cooked by the Shriners, and a motorcycle ride will be held October 20 at Martha Jane Potter Elementary School. The dinner, which begins at 11:30 a.m., and the ride will benefit Robbie Gross and his family. Robbie, a fourth-grade student at MJP, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Dinners may be carried out or eaten at the school and entertainment will be provided all day.
Registration for the “Ride for Robbie” will take place at MJP at 10 a.m., and the ride will leave at 11:15 a.m. The registration fee is $15, which includes dinner. The ride is sponsored by the Brothers of the Wind Riders Association.
