District champions advance in regional







Less than a week after defeating Perry County Central High School in the finals of the 32nd District, the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars advanced to the second round of the 16th Regional Soccer Tournament in London last night (Tuesday) by recording a 7-2 win over Shelby Valley High School. The Lady Cougars will meet the winner of a match between Johnson Central and North Laurel High to see who their opponent will be tomorrow night (Oct. 21) at 8, also in London.
