— Grayson Holbrook (right), daughter of the late Sharon Holbrook and Martin E. Holbrook III, recently donated one of her latest books to the Blackey Public Library. Grace Raglin accepted the book for the library. Grayson has published seven books. She will be a senior at Letcher County Central High School in the fall and her favorite pastimes are reading and writing. She also enjoys being part of the high school band. Grayson invented the character Plate Head before she was 6 years old, and he is the main character in most of her books. The book she donated is “Plate Head Visits a Confederate Camp”. Her next book will be “Plate Head’s Civil War Adventures” with photos.
