Douglas Ray Hall, 69, died August 19 at his home in Seco.
Born in Fleming to the late Jesse Hall and Phoebe Blanton Hall Newsome, he was a grandfather of the late Alanah Ray-Ann Hall and a brother of the late Billy Hall, Lucinda Hall, Jenny Kay Crooms, Constance Hall and Kitten Newsome.
Mr. Hall was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.
Surviving are four daughters, Amanda Dawn Upshaw of Byron, Ga., Donna Rae Moore and Leslie Hope Johns, both of Macon, Ga., and Katrina Lynn Oliver of Warner Robins, Ga.; a son, Jesse Wayce Hall of Indiana; two brothers, Harold Hall and Terry Hall, both of Macon, Ga.; six sisters, Tonda June Courson, Lily Greer and Angela Coleman, all of Georgia, Vonda Marting of Liberty, Wendy Hall of Cumberland, and Linia Quillen of Seco; two stepsisters, Rose Fields of Seco and Betty Anderson of Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Hall were held August 22 in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Newsome family cemetery at Seco.
