Drive-thru testing for COVID-19 became available yesterday at Shelby Valley High School, near Pikeville, and will be available through Thursday.
The State of Kentucky has partnered with Kroger to offer the drive-thru testing sites at locations around the state, including Pike County, Somerset, Madisonville and Paducah.
The testing is free, but an appointment must be made to take advantage of it.
Anyone who is interested in being tested for the viral disease should visit the state’s web site www. kycovid19.ky.gov and click on the “Learn More” link under the heading “Drivethru Testing” near the top of the page.
From there, follow the links to www.thelittleclinic.com/drivethru-testing and answer the questions. Appointments are available.
