Dyslexia program available



Children with dyslexia can participate in an afterschool tutorial program held in Letcher County by Hindman Settlement School. The program meets for 13 weeks, one evening per week, and provides one-on-one individualized instruction for the fall and spring semesters. Hindman Settlement School tests children for dyslexia and is now partnering with IDEA, Center of Excellence (a IRS 501(3)c-approved organization) that hopes to soon be accredited by IMSLEC.
