Funeral services for Easter Potter Cantrell, 95, of Indianapolis, Ind., were held August 21 in Jenkins. Burial was in Laurel Fork Cemetery in Jenkins.
Born in Pike County to the late Ira B. and Kate Johnson Potter, she died August 14 at her daughter Novella Brewer’s home in Vermillion, Ohio.
The widow of James Allen Cantrell, she was the mother of the late James Allen Cantrell, Jr., and Kate Caldwell Jones, and a grandmother of the late Wesley Michael Vaught and Cristopher Adam Cantrell, Jr.
Surviving are three sons, Roy H. Cantrell and Michael D. Cantrell, both of Cleveland, Tenn., and Auldin B. Cantrell of Dayton, Oh.; three daughters, Dora L. Duncan of Jenkins, Zetta Vaught Stein of Lillian, Ala., and Novella Louise Brewer of Vermillion, Oh.; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
