Funeral services for Emma Jean Wright Vanover, 70, were held February 28 at People’s Baptist Church in Dunham, Kentucky. Burial was in Potters Fork Cemetery.
A daughter of the late Jonah D. and Elizabeth Terry Wright, she was born in Jenkins. She died February 25 at Pikeville Medical Center.
She was a member of People’s Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Vanover of Jenkins, and Robert Vanover and wife Gina of Neon; two grandchildren, Keylan Vanover and Paige Vanover; two sisters, Linda Sparks and husband Daniel of Shelbyville, Ind., and Gloria Baker and husband Ronnie of Millstone; four brothers, Gary Wright and wife Becky of Knab, Utah, Jimmy Wright of Loganville, Ga., Denver Wright and wife Portia of Marion Station, Md., Tommy Wright and wife Pam of Winston Salem, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Vanover.
Mrs. Vanover was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Roger Vanover; a brotherin law, Larry Vanover; and a brother, Johnny Wright of Myrtle Point, Ore.
Carty Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
