Howdy y’all, sorry I haven’t been writing but been a mite under the weather. I am now feeling what one might call normal, or almost. Hope none on the down side and all fit as a fiddle.
I would like to thank everyone for all the get well and anniversary cards, phone calls and visits. Now that I’m home I will get busy writing letters but have to rest up quite a bit. These old bones just aren’t what they used to be, both of us still need your prayers. Thank you.
One should see the rehab unit we were both in at different times. It’s Main Street Care Center, it’s like a town or village in itself!
I didn’t get to see all of it. They have assisted living, independent living, condos, private rooms, a salon, a post office and other amenities. The personnel were just fantastic so caring and dedicated. I just loved each and every one of them.
I am doing well, walk without cane or walker, take care of myself. Do a bit around the house and try to do a bit of cooking, have to take a lot of creaks.
Red isn’t doing very well. Of course he’s got a lot against him, blindness and everything else that’s going on.
Just talked to Jeanie; they are all okay. Richard, Georgia and Catharine are here now.
Rick, Joyce, their four, plus Debbie’s son Ben left for Florida this evening. Will be back Easter. Hope they have a great time.
Hello to Oma Hatton and Rose Ballard. Thanks for the call, Rose, always a pleasure talking with you.
Birthday wishes to the family of Gaynell, Lavada on March 20; Larry and a niece on March 18; Regina, April 3; Tammy Rose on April 9; and Robert Mullins on April 9.
Hi to Dorothy, Gaynell’s sister.
Best wishes to Regina who is expecting a baby on the 27th.
Have a great week. Love and prayers.
