Enid Sparks is buried at Deane



Enid ‘ Molly’ Boundy Sparks, 90, of Deane, died November 13 in Shelbyville, Ind.

Born in Butte, Mont., to the late William and Louise Boundy, she was the widow of Harold Sparks.

She was a sister of the late Thelma Engstedt, Bill Boundy, and Fred Boundy, and a member of the Deane Baptist Church.

She had been employed at the Neon Bank for many years, was a substitute teacher in the Letcher County School System, and had prepared taxes for many in the Deane area.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel Sparks and wife Linda, Shelbyville, Ind., and Rick Sparks and wife Judy, Smithfield, Ut.; five grandchildren, Cindy Sparks, Kris Sparks and wife Laura, Anna Macaluso, Lucretia Worster and husband Mark, and Brian Sparks and wife Jennifer; and two greatgrandchildren, Christian DeRolf and Elizabeth De- Rolf.

Funeral services were held Nov. 26 at the Deane Baptist Church. Burial was in the John Bentley Cemetery at Deane.

Carty Funeral Home of Neon had charge of the local arrangements.
