Hello to everyone from the Ermine Senior Citizens Center. We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather outside.

We have been having a great time at the center playing Rook, Scrabble, and Bingo, doing puzzles, and quilting. It’s a wonderful place that we all enjoy coming to each day.

We serve lunch at 11 a.m. If you are a senior, 60 or older, we invite you to come be with us.

We went to visit Camp Nathanael and watched a play and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. We’ve been on a few shopping trips.

Last week we went to Knott County to the Senior Games. We took 21 seniors and came home with 16 medals. We are so proud of all of our seniors for their hard work.

We would like to thank Lizzie Mae Wright for the beautiful flowers that she has brought to the center to decorate our tables.

We would like to congratulate the Letcher County senior cheerleaders for a job well done. They placed first in Dance; first in Best Dressed; second in Cheer. We are so proud of them. They sure put a lot of hard work into this, and it was a job well done.

Thanks to Brooke, Eunice and Trenda. You all did a wonderful job this year.

Until next time, have a wonderful week, and be safe.
