Friday Nite Pickin’ Schedule, May 16, at 7:30 p.m., Cross Country Bluegrass will be back playing a show that is one half bluegrass and one half country. They are excellent on both genres so come on out. Big Will Caudill from Whitesburg is on guitar. Buddy Young is on banjo and steel and piano. Marcus Riley is on mandolin and Anthony O’Quinne is on the bass. All of these guys sing vocals with the sweetest harmonies ever.

Bring your sweetheart for a lovely time. If you don’t have a sweetheart, you will find good company and willing dance partners among our sweet patrons. No use sitting home alone when you can come out and cut a rug with us.

May 23, Dawson Creek ; May 30, Sunrise Ridge; June 6, Will Caudill and Rt. 7.

Aspiring singers and musicians who want to share their talents are invited to play during intermission on Friday nights. The target audience is bluegrass/country/ folk. Limit two songs per individual/group until all who wish to pick have had a turn. Rotation as time allows. You will always find a kind and receptive crowd.

We have some veteran musicians playing in featured bands who played their first public appearance as novices on our stage. This is an opportunity to break the ice and get your feet wet so to speak. Everyone is more than welcome to share their talents!

Family fun for all ages. Kids get in free when accompanied by an adult. Good food, good music, good fellowship.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
