Family Farm Day set

Family Farm Day, featuring a horse veterinary clinic, will be held Saturday, May 28, at the Stables at Creekside Glen in Partridge.

The event will provide area horse owners with free examinations of the animals conducted by veterinarians from central Kentucky including Dr. Rob Southall, Area Veterinarian in Charge for Kentucky; Dr. Kelley Bradford and Dr. Barb Pool.

They will perform examinations as well as offer vaccinations and diagnostic tests including a test for Coggins. The veterinarian clinic will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.

Family Farm Day will begin at 11 a.m. and last until 6 p.m. and will include music by East KY Tyme, regional foods and treats, games, an inflatable slide, face painting and pony and horse rides.

The stables are located just off US 119 in Partridge, approximately seven miles northeast of Cumberland and 15 miles from Whitesburg. For more information, call (606) 633-9680.
