Good morning! I thought it was until I looked outside, but it’s snowing pretty good. Our driveway is covered already.
Hopefully it won’t come a big one. Ain’t no one here up to shoveling, but a neighbor comes by and does that when needed. He really does a good job. I don’t know how we would make without family, friends and neighbors.
I want to thank everyone for all the calls and beautiful cards. I really appreciate each and every one.
Sidney Hull of Detroit, Mich., it was so good to talk with you. Please take care of yourself.
Mildred Perdue, Sterling, Va., so sorry I missed your call, but I had a doctor’s appointment.
I have talked to Jettie and Georgia and sister Jeanie. Red’s sister Jean, brother Charles, and his niece Carleta Adams also called. Northeast Ohio
Floyd Meade of Orange, Tex., called and talked to Red, who really enjoys their conversations. I’m a bit envious as he told Red all the veggies he had growing.
Hobart and Sarah Justice called. We have known them for years and really love them.
I got the results of the echocardiogram, and there are a few glitches which I will talk about later as I am going for a CT scan tomorrow and will have all the good news at one time.
Richard and Georgia stopped by for a short visit and Bill and Redia came by.
Bill turned 65 and Redia’s 64. I told them I wouldn’t be cooking a birthday dinner or bake them a cake this year. I’m not doing very much cooking right now, mostly it is easier to just warm something up.
It’s getting close time for Catharine to show up so I had better start signing off. We did get about two inches of snow and it’s really cold.
I almost forgot to mention the call from cousin Denver Profitt of Michigan.
Wishing all a great week, happy days and peaceful nights. Stay warm, stay well and same time same place next week.
