Tuesdays at 10 a.m., senior fellowship: Folks over 60 are invited to come to Hemphill Community Center. The fellowship has been canceled the past two weeks because of inclement weather. Participation is always good when the seniors meet. Friendships are important and we feel folks should be provided space and time for the cultivation of them.
Inclement weather policy for senior fellowship: If schools are closed in Letcher County on Tuesday, there will be no gathering that day.
Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m., Will Caudill and RT 7 will be on hand to play and sing us happy. We look forward to their music and we all have our favorite requests for them when they are with us. They are kind and obliging in trying to sing all requests. Their music is a real treat for the listener or the dancer. Come on out and support this wonderful local band. We’ll be watching for you.

Feb. 19: Cross Country Bluegrass
Feb. 26: Dawson Creek
