Woodrow Bates and John
Williams. Applications are

Parade

Opening ceremonies 10
a.m.
Rain or shine, in front of
the Letcher County Courthouse. The Mountain Heritage Festival committee will
recognize the 2016 Grand
Marshals, Miss Ann Bradley
and Miss Whitney Creech.
Soldiers of the Ben E. Camp
#1629 will fire their cannon
to start one of the largest
parades in southeastern
Kentucky.
11 a.m., parade begins.
Carnival opens after the
parade.
Adopt your duck race at
5 p.m.
Stage Entertainment
1:45 p.m., Parade awards.
3:30–4:30 p.m., Shelby

6–7:45 p.m., Pie in the
Face.
Whipped cream pie in
the face fundraiser; the
highest bidder can throw
a pie in the face of your
favorite coach, magistrate,
politician, coworkers, and
others.

The Heartbeats.
