Festival set for Aug. 5-7




Hazard Community and Technical College’s Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music will co-host performances during the Hyden Citizens Bank 17th annual Osborne Brothers Hometown Festival set for Aug. 5-7 at the Nixon Center on Highway 421 in Hyden.

The festival will feature Bobby Osborne and the Rock Top X-Press, Lonesome River Band, Dr. Ralph Stanley and His Clinch Mountain Boys, The Grascals, J.D. Crowe and the New South, Dean Osborne Band, Moron Brothers, Coaltown Dixie, Sullivan Family, Vince Combs, Crossroad, Mike Lilly and Wendy Miller, and Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music faculty members Curtis Burch and J.P. Mathes.

A three-day advance ticket is $15 and can be purchased at any Hyden Citizens Bank location or from any Leslie County fire department volunteer through Aug. 4.
