Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a great week. Hard to believe it is September already.
Fall is just around the corner and festivals are going on. Should be a fun month for everyone.
Happy birthday to Joyce Wilson (wife of Dean Wilson), Sept. 6. Have a great day, and praying for you to have better health.
Also happy birthday to Yvonne Pack on Sept. 8. Have a great day, Yvonne.
Happy anniversary to Kattie and Tim Dobson on Sept. 9. I think it makes 30 wonderful years. I love you guys.
My brother Archie Ray Fields will be 69 on Sept. 12. Love you, big brother. Have a good day and be healthy. Archie, you need to get better so we can go to Golden Corral and eat.
Went to Hemphill last Friday night in honor of Coach Hiram Collins, who had been coach there for 30 years. Jim Ward and his crew had the basketball court repaved, white paint on it, and in one corner they painted ‘Coach Collins Court 2014’ in his honor, and Jim Ward gave him a certificate.
We all enjoyed a potluck supper and dancing to rock and roll music by the group State of Mind. We really enjoyed it.
This was the first annual Hiram Collins Day. We love you, Coach. He is a regular at Friday Night Pickin’ at Hemphill.
Sorry to hear that Jamie Cook died. My sympathy goes out to her family.
Looks like the fundraiser went well at Cowan Community center. They sold fried apple pies and had a yard sale for a couple.
Dee Dee Williams still needs prayer, and also my son Mike, Melinda Daniel, Estelene Shepherd and Jody Fields.
When we are in bad health we see people who are a lot worse off, so be thankful to God and do not take life for granted. You can be here one minute and gone the next. No promise of tomorrow, so enjoy while you can and give thanks with a thankful heart.
We had a wonderful worship and praise service last Sunday at King’s Chapel. God has really been blessing the church and some of the flock are coming back, praise God.
Well folks, I am going to go for now. Have a good week, and may God bless.
