Hello all. Once again I find myself with very little time to write and not a lot to write about. I hope each of you is doing well.
Dalton and I have been sick again. We both had strep and he had an upper respiratory infection on top of that. This makes the third time he has had strep in a little over a month.
We’ve taken stock in Clorox and Lysol again, bought everyone a new toothbrush, and have been pouring boiling water over them between brushings to kill any germs. We sure had a few rough days with chilling, fever, and sweats, but we are finally doing better.
Gardner Allen Jent and family have been sick this week. They’ve all had upper respiratory infections and poor little Alissa had RSV. I hope they all start feeling better soon.
My dad, Allen Whitaker, had a heart cath done in Pikeville, May 31. They told him he has blockages in his legs and one in his heart could be managed with diet and medications. The other blockage in his heart needs a stent, but they couldn’t put it in that day. They were afraid that giving him more dye would shut his kidneys down. He is scheduled to go back on Tuesday, June 7, to have the stent put in.
Jordan Adams, son of Charity Whitaker, had his tonsils removed this week. He is in some pain but doing okay. He is able to eat now.
Caitlin Webb, daughter of Chalena Whitaker-Williams and C.D. Webb, was scheduled to have her tonsils and adenoids removed, June 6. I hope everything went okay for her. Blair Branch
Missy Fields and family spent the weekend camping at the Littcarr Campground. They said they really enjoyed themselves.
Mom, Sylvania Whitaker, said she spoke with Jonathon Blair again the other day. She has really been enjoying his phone calls. Jon and his family are all doing well.
Chalena and Robbie Williams celebrated their first wedding anniversary on June 5. Happy anniversary to you two. I hope your day was special and that you have many happy and lovefi lled years together.
Stephen West and Taschelle Sexton will celebrate their birthdays on June 8. Cyra Whitaker will celebrate on June 14.
That is all the birthdays for this week. Happy birthday to you all! I hope your day is filled with all the love and laughter in the world.
If I have left anyone or anything out, just let me know and I will be glad to get you next time. I hope everyone has a healthy and happy week. If you would like to contact me, feel free to give me a call or you may email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
