Hello everyone! Hoping all are having a good week. Mine has been crazy.
My son Mike had a callous on his big toe and it broke open and was infected. He had surgery on it last week. He is doing okay, just slow moving.
Then my husband was filling up with fluid in his stomach — he looked like he was about to deliver. He was admitted to WARH last Friday. He is doing better.
My sister Kathy Wolfe has been very sick with stomach problems. She is due to have a scope run down into her stomach.
Archie is still in rehab, doing better.
Loreva Fields is having a rough time, health-wise. Eugene Day is improving, and Morris Maggard is home from rehab and doing better.
My brother-in-law Eddie Wolfe is to have more neck surgery this week. Hopefully he does well with that.
Thomas Wolfe had a heart cath. No blockages, thank God for that.
As far as I know everyone else is doing okay except for us caregivers going insane. Margaret Fields, Melinda, Daniel and myself would consider it a vacation. Not really.
Sorry to hear about Virgie Dollarhide dying. I did not know her, but I knew Oaksie back when we were younger. My sympathy goes to the family.
Birthdays this week are Audrey Maggard Hammonds, 72 on March 1; Archie Joe Maggard on March 1; Lexie Fields will be 9 years old on March 2 or 3; Paul McIntosh on March 3; Barb Wagner Bruner on March 3; Bill Maggard Sr. would have been 74 on March 3.
Happy birthday to all, and a late happy birthday to Shelia Younce Hogan and Jay Turner.
Elmer Fraley died a year ago on March 3. He was married to Velda Dollarhide and is missed by all who knew him.
Also, Heather Day Griffie has been gone three years on March 4, and is sadly missed by all.
Well folks, I’ve got to cut this short. I have to go to WARH to pick up my husband who is getting released today. Have a good week, pray for someone until next time. God bless.
